The Facilities Committee is comprised of board members, administrators, teachers, and community members. Its goal is to work with the district’s architectural firm (TetraTech) and its construction firm (Palumbo Group) to identify which projects should be included in the larger capital project proposal.
FACILITIES COMMITTEE PLANNING DOCUMENT
Throughout the planning process, the committee had to decide which items to include in its final project. Some items that were not included are being handled in-house. Others were determined to be of less critical need and are being pushed to a future capital project. But it's important to note: the committee has created a plan for every need to be addressed in the coming years.
FINAL RECOMMENDATION
The Facilities Committee has made its final recommendation to the Board of Education. This includes $23 million of enhancements to a broad range of areas.
