building conditions survey

The master plan for all these projects stem from the Building Conditions Survey that is mandated by New York State and happens every five years. The facilities committee used this document as a guide to determine the projects most in need and what could be completed with the available funds.

Building & Grounds

  • District-wide Building Backflow Preventers

capital reserve fund

For all the other projects that were not included in the capital project this time around and that could not be addressed by the Building & Grounds department, the Board of Education is asking voters to establish a new capital reserve fund in order to address those items.

Some of those items include improvements to the middle school fields, middle school drop-off traffic circle, paving of Lee rd., and others.

While some of these items have been identified for the next capital project, it doesn’t mean that other necessities might not arise that supersede those already mentioned.
